Our virtual academic internship program is designed to help participants gain an international working experience while learning.

At the end of the program, participants will present their experience in a virtual symposium.
Participants who complete all academic components of the internship will receive a Gustolab International Record of Study.
Gustolab International can give support to students interested in pursuing credits from their home university where available.

University students (both undergraduate and graduate) and independent professionals from all fields of study. They will be particularly suitable to those interested in food studies, food systems, sustainability, environmental studies, cultural tourism, gastronomic studies, food heritage, sustainable hospitality, agribusiness, nutrition and food science.
Students enrolled at a university need to have a GPA of at least 2.5 to participate in the program and be in good academic and social standing at their home university.
Knowledge of a second language or familiarity with Italian language is helpful but not required
The tuition fee of the virtual academic internship is $2,005.
BONUS! By participating in the program, you will get a discount of $1,000 for future enrollment in an onsite (In Italy) 2021 spring or fall Gustolab International open program. The value of the discount remains the same regardless of how many online courses you take with us during 2020.
