This Wednesday December 5th, our director Dr. Sonia Massari was invited by European Institute of Design (IED) Director Nerina Di Nunzio to a meeting about food and education. In the occasion of the event, Oscar Farinetti, the founder and owner of Eataly, shared his story. Eataly stands as the largest Italian marketplace in the world, where visitors can buy, eat and learn. The lecture focused a segment from Farinetti’s latest book, ‘Quasi’, highlighting the ‘History of Human Feelings; We choose the best and we learn to manage the wonder of human imperfection’. In this book, he introduces the audience with emotive words and images that link with people and the world in which we live. He puts forth the invitation to discover the beauty hidden around us.
