GLi attended ‘Scarborough Fare: Global Foodways and Local Foods in a Transnational City’, the Joint 2016 Annual Meetings and Conference of the Association for the Study of Food and Society; the Agriculture, Food, and Human Values Society; and the Canadian Association for Food Studies hosted by the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) this year.
During the conference GLi Director, Dr. Sonia Massari organized and chaired the Food design, sustainability, and community development panel and also presented at the Fast Food Studies Pecha Kucha.
