Enrollment into GLi’s open programs
Students interact directly with GLi to apply, make payments, confirm travel arrangements, and complete enrollment materials. GLi will administer any or all of these enrollment steps, depending on the needs of each student according to their college or university procedures.
Students have the opportunity of speaking with a member of GLi’s program advising team to find the program that best matches their academic and personal goals.

GLi regularly sends information about its programs to study abroad offices at universities and colleges across the country and announces programs through mailservers and list servers dedicated to International Education (SECUSS) and Food Studies.
Members of the Development team participate in important study abroad fairs such as the Forum of Education, NAFSA, EAIE, to reach students directly and coach our U.S. partners on successful recruitment techniques. We also use social media to promote our programs and to maintain a relationship with our alumni during all aspects of their study abroad experience. We use Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube, Pinterest, Linkedin and Google+.

Gli prepares students for departure to Rome through personalized guidance and follow-up right until their arrival in Rome.
Pre-departure information sessions are provided in person, where a member of GLi’s program advising team attends the student’s University pre-departure orientation to meet students and provide information about our programs, or through information sessions via Skype.
Before their departure to Rome, GLi staff verifies all students’ travel itineraries and provides detailed instructions for their travel to Rome.
