Gustolab Institute alumni of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Spring 2015 Food and Culture Program in Rome, Jacqueline Manning and Taylor Lundy were announced as finalists for the 2015 BCFN Young Earth Solutions YES! Competition. Additionally, the teams comprised of Kathryn Steinberg and Lane Olander, and of Samantha Mihalik and Meaghan Sampey were announced as one of the 30 finalists for the BEST ON THE WEB 2015 BCFN YES! Competition.
Gustolab Institute Alumni of the 2014 Critical Studies on Food in Italy Summer Program, Hongjie Zhang from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Tiffany Watson of Mills College were announced as finalists of the 2014 BCFN Young Earth Solutions YES! Competition.

Dr. Sonia Massari is awarded the 2014 Innovative Research in International Education Award. This award, supported by NAFSA’s Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship Knowledge Community, celebrates and recognizes new and innovative research that has made an impact in the field of international education.
